- Profession guiding for lower levels: Setting up and guiding
the network of health experts in the gerontology through the
country.

- Enhangcing the awareness of
society in elderly population, elderly health care.
- Upgrading the knowledge in 3 major aspects in gerontology.
- Finished 250 scientific themes in which: 3 ministrial
themes.
- Participating to train 15 candidates of Ph.D, hundreds of
M.S, hospital medical doctors, 1 st grade medical doctors, 2
nd grade medical doctors.
- Editing and publishing 40 titles of medical books
- Organizing 22 conferences and many training courses for more
1000 cadres in the whole country.
- Researching the epidemology of geriatric health and disease
with the big number of subject in many different geographic
areas.
- Collaborating with the domestic facilities in researching
and manufacturing the drugs.
- Researching the new methods of treatment.
- Cooperating with the international organizations and
enterprises such as WHO, UNPFA, ESCAP, HAI, ATCOA, Beaferer
ipssen international, les laboratoires servier ... etc... in
training, researching and developing the public projects.
- Calling for and founding the Viet Nam gerontology
association.
- Treating effectively the in patients; upgrading the medical
morals.
- Being the first place in successfully applying the laser
therapy in treatment of the benign prostate tumour.
